Hi I'm Ellie and have been teaching my Yogabellies classes successfully for 6 years offering Yogabellies for Pregnancy, Yogabellies for Mum & baby yoga and massage, and the luxurious Luna and dynamic CorePlay yoga classes for all women. I am also a Hypnobirthing teacher and a mum too so I understand the feminine body and mind! Yoga is my passion. I love to travel and I practice yoga everywhere I go and even my mini me yogi joins in. Because of our love of travel we recently moved to Dubai where I now teach Yogabellies classes in the sun! I have a small team of Yogabellies teachers running the Glasgow and East Ayrshire based studio classes. Adrienne, a Mum of 3 and a teacher outside of Yogabellies and has spent a lot of time in my Yogabellies classes over the years which led her to come on board with me. Hi my name is Ellie and I am a senior yoga teacher at Yogabellies International. I ran Yogabellies Glasgow Southside for over 6 years. We are now Yogabellies with Ellie and branching out in Scotland (so let me know if you want to join the team I am on the lookout for people to join us!)
I discovered Yogabellies in my own pregnancy and then after giving birth I set up my own Yogabellies business teaching all the classes and enjoying an amazing work life balance getting to see my wee boy grow up. Having a studio at home he got to see it all and became a mini yogi. He also took my love of travel and we recently moved to Dubai where I now run Yogabellies classes in the sun! I used to work as a flight attendant here but teaching yoga is my passion and Yogabellies is my life.
My team of certified Yogabellies teachers run the studio classes in Glasgow. Adrienne has been practising yoga for about 10 years beginning in express lunchtime classes before eventually finding Yogabellies after having her second baby. Adrienne came to Yogabellies for Mum & baby, Mum & toddler classes and then she came to Yogabellies Luna and Coreplay with me all before becoming pregnant with her third baby. We talked of her becoming a Yogabellies teacher for a long time and when I moved to Dubai the opportunity became reality. Adrienne is Mother of 3 so is an expert in all things babies! She is a teacher outside of Yogabellies, loves yoga and talking to women of their experiences of pregnancy, birth, motherhood, and womanhood in general. Join her on the mat for pregnancy and mum and baby yoga in Glasgow Southside.
Adrienne will be teaching pregnancy yoga on Wednesdays and mum and baby yoga on Tuesdays at our venue in Newlands South Church in Shawlands.
Shona will also be teaching pregnancy yoga at our venue in Newlands South Church in Shawlands. Shona’s classes are on Fridays and Shona is a certified Yogabellies teacher of many years. She is a mum of 4 so a great expert in the field of all things pregnancy and motherhood!
Lorraine our latest addition to the team is currently studying her 300 hour (wow!) Yogabellies certification. Her classes are COMING SOON watch this space!
All our teachers an experienced yogis and either fully certified or in training with Yogabellies. They will guide the you through the journey of bump birth and beyond.
Yogabellies mum & baby yoga you can anytime after your 6 week check up ( or 8-10 weeks for a section) just make sure you are ready to start light exercise again. This class is great for babies from newborn all the way up until fully mobile (that is off and crawling around the room but rolling around is fine:) There are simple stretches for baby, yoga for two and yoga just for mum!
Yogabellies baby massage can be started from birth as touch is their first language and it is a beautiful way to start a babies life. This class teaches you how to safely massage your baby to help with baby bonding, that mum all important mum and baby connection, any minor baby ailments and relaxation (yes that is sleep mum!) Again this class is suitable all the way up until they are fully mobile.

This is a weekly class run in blocks of 6 (can be taken over 7 weeks) and can be joined any week there is space available. There are single class options too.
