I live in Edinburgh with my husband and two young boys, Adam and Angus.
Keeping fit and healthy has always been a priority for me. Yoga is a great way to build strength and focus the mind. I have always loved teaching others in my previous roles and through going to the YogaBellies classes as a client I grew so passionate about what I was doing. The breathing techniques and positions I learned in class contributed hugely to how positive my second labour was and I will be forever grateful for that. Postnatally, I became fascinated with women’s health, pelvic health and recovery from pregnancy and childbirth. I have a strong desire to help other women like me calm the mind and build up strength and flexibility – whilst having fun! Yoga is so useful at all stages of life and the women’s yoga classes we offer are suitable for all levels, even if you’ve never tried yoga before. Great class from Louisa coming from a very peaceful setting. Very clear instructions with harder and easier options. Added new moves each week. Yoga is helping improve my posture. Different relaxation techniques at the end of each class which are so good, I am so relaxed I fall asleep at the end of the class on my mat.
I’m currently doing Louisa’s pregnancy yoga class and it’s exactly what I needed. Everything is explained so well and there are modifications to suit everyone plus there is lots of interesting content. Highly recommended.
Not having done much yoga in the past I found this class excellent. Very clear instructions from Louisa in a nice peaceful environment. Great to have harder and easier options which I really appreciate. Some new moves added each week. Different relaxation techniques each session. So so good, I fall asleep at the end.
I hadn’t done much yoga before, but Louisa gives very clear instructions in a peaceful environment which are easy to follow. Great to have harder and easier options. New moves added each week. Fabulous relaxation techniques, so good I fall asleep really easily at the end of the class.
I’ve been really enjoying but my Luna classes with a Louisa and look forward to them every week! Louisa is very friendly and approachable and makes you feel at ease from the very start. I’ve felt mental and physical benefits and feel myself improving every week! Louisa gives lots of options for the different positions so her classes suit all abilities!
Cannot recommend Luna classes with Louisa enough! I’m a complete novice but Louisa gives excellent advice and variations for the movements and I feel very reassured through the entire session. The stretches were amazing for my back, and I left the class feeling so relaxed!
Really enjoying Luna classes with Louisa. Felt so relaxed afterwards, I hadn’t realised I was stressed before! It had been a while since I’d done any yoga but Louisa made it really easy to follow. Would highly recommend.
Just had my first yogabellies session with the amazing Louisa!! I was a bit nervous as I have zero flexibility since having the little one, but Louisa kept the pace nice and chilled and showed alternative moves. Was really engaging and can’t wait to continue.
