Victoria completed 300 Hours Yoga Teacher Training with YogaBellies (focusing on Women’s health at all stages of life), as well as YogaBellies for Kidz Teacher Training.
A little introduction to me
Hi, I’m Victoria/Vicki (I usually answer to Mum). I simply love life and love yoga, however I still can’t do a headstand and parenting is hard work.
How did I end up becoming a yoga teacher? My career paths over the past 12 years have all been focused on healthcare, but the balance of life just wasn’t right for me after I had my youngest daughter (along with the stress of her constant crying), so I hit the yoga mat, A LOT, to destress. It was honestly like an epiphany, I woke at 3am one morning and emailed Cheryl (the founder of YogaBellies) requesting more information on how to become a yoga teacher. Within 24 hours I was enrolled onto a course! I can’t thank her enough!
I want to meet females from all walks of life; women who may have found themselves in a dark place and not understanding what is ‘wrong with them’ I can assure you there is absolutely nothing ‘wrong with you’, you might just need to find your ‘circle’. This ranges from young girls reaching puberty, menstruation, women trying for a baby, pregnancy, mum and baby/baby bonding*, and the wonderful ladies going through menopause. Any stage of life you are going through, or if you have simply just hit a wall, please come, and hit the yoga mat instead. There will be a class suitable for you. At the end of every class there will be an opportunity to sit and talk or just listen, whilst having a cuppa.
I will be bringing a variety of YogaBellies classes to the Ards Peninsula area from January 2023. Approximately 12 people per class, and no yoga experience is needed. I am focusing on Carrowdore, Kircubbin and Portavogie. Message/phone me or check my Instagram for more details. I also offer one to one session’s if you don’t want to attend a group session.
As for Yogabellies Kidz classes, I will be covering all of Ards Peninsula. These classes are so much fun and chaotic, I secretly love these classes. Toddlers are hilarious and surprisingly naturally good at yoga. (I caught my 1-year-old attempting a downward facing dog pose last week). If you are interested or know anyone or any schools/groups etc that might be interested, please get in contact with me.
I look forward to hearing from you
*My ‘Mum and baby/baby bonding’ classes, all female caregivers and baby are welcome. It doesn’t’ matter how baby came to your life, you are still a mum (whether it be through surrogacy, adoption, foster, legal guardian, female caregiver etc). You are all entitled to bond with your baby, so please join me on the mat.
