Happiness and contentment look complete different for everyone -what makes one person tick doesn’t necessarily fly for someone else.
Very often have everything we need in life but we just don’t realize it.
We know daily drag can take over and leave us zero time to enjoy the things that make us smile. If we neglect the small things, this leads to an overall unhappy life – so don’t forget to make time for those simple things that make you happy!
If you’re not content with your life, how do you figure out what changes you need to make? It doesn’t need to be something huge or radical. Try some baby steps. It could be a daily walk in the park, your yoga class, a cup of green tea after dinner, listening to music, seeing your friends – whatever you need to make you a little bit happier right now is an important – and essential – part of living your best life long term.
If you’ve never actually thought it, a good place to start is to ask yourself “if I could be enjoying something right now, what would it be?” Or “what really makes me feel good?” From there you can build on what you have or focus on changing the bits of your life of yourself you’re not so delighted with Simples!
Consider how you feel about your answers to these questions though. Be completely honest with yourself and concentrate on the good or bad vibes that you get from your answers. Whatever your bigger picture is, doing small things that bring you joy every single day will take you a lil bit closer to living your best life.

I’m an inclusive, not scary, totally normal yet heavily qualified yoga instructor and founder of YogaBellies® and the Birth ROCKS Method. I’m trained in self hypnosis and meditation and what I love is helping women (ALL women) enjoy yoga without having to whisper all the time and wear fancy activewear that cost a month’s rent.
I believe Yoga is for everyone.
