Our YogaBellies Teacher in Dursley, Gloucestershire, Theresa Barrett, tries out 2 fantastic new yoga bras for mamas.
Lotus Yoga Bra
This bra solved a real problem for me. I frequently have to rush around getting my kids to school and baby to a childminder in the morning before teaching yoga. I prefer to wear a sports bra to yoga and other sports bras are so snug that I have to lift up the whole bra – exposing both breasts to enable breastfeeding. As I’m often doing this on the hop its not a great look and I end up struggling with my vest or a wrap to try and conceal the other breast. Not ideal at all. The Lotus bra allows me to breastfeed discreetly and easily. The feeding space initially looked small, but its super stretchy so plenty of room for feeding baby or attaching a breast pump – it even holds the breast pump in place if I’m multi-tasking with the other kids and spreading toast!! Its also super soft, comfy and looks gorgeous. The black with pink piping looks awesome with my YogaBellies branded vests, but you could easily wear it without a vest especially for yoga on the beach (my favourite thing whenever I get the chance!).
Lemon Zest Bra
Again this bra solves a problem for me, being able to breastfeed easily and discretely whilst wearing my yoga gear. I often breastfeed between classes and this is ideal so I don’t have to expose both breasts like I do with non-nursing sports bras when I’m breastfeeding in front of ladies in my class. Of course they don’t mind, but I’d rather not reveal both breasts if I don’t have to!! This bra has additional support, it would be fab for buggy runs too – I love the optional additional hook on the straps at the back to turn it into racer back and provide additional support. The fabric is also very soft and comfy despite the bra being structured and firm and it is a really gorgeous looking sports bra with gorgeous turquoise trim and breathable mesh panel at the front.
Big thanks to you Cheryl and Cake lingerie for providing me with these fab products. I would definitely buy them or similar in future.
